Although I don't like Mexican food, I am absolutely in love with this place! Though it is not your average Mexican restaurant, it is very unorthodox, creative and contemporary. Also be aware of the size of the portions. They are quite generous and I ended up in food coma. Everything was very delicious and I really liked their duck. Also their are big on the drinks mostly mescal based that are very creative and really tasty. The place is quite busy, so reservation is recommend.

Xixa deserves nothing less than five stars!! In the past, I have found that top quality Mexican food can be hard to come by in the city, but after dining at Xixa I can take back that statement. I have found THE spot. Not only was the flavor profile of each dish divine, but the service was great. Our waiter was attentive, and even brought us comped drinks! Two of my favorite items on the menu probably had to be the seasonal guac and the braised short ribs. I have never tasted meat so tender. It fell off the bone. Also, all of the sauces that came with it tied it all together. The entree came with house made blue corn tortillas to put all of the fixings in. Orgasmic! We also ordered drinks, and they were amazing! They have a deconstructed menu which is really fun! If you want to enjoy some incredible food and a romantic atmosphere then this is the place. 12/10!!

Had such a a great time at Xixa. We did the tasting menu which was amazing. So much food for such a reasonable price. Our server went above and beyond - was so sweet, passionate, and took time to explain the drinks and menu. Will definitely be back

The chef's tasting menu was of good value @$58/pp. The menu changes seasonally and some highlights this time included: bone marrow taco, mole beef taco. Their flan was some of the best I've had (almost like Panna cotta) Don't expect to be wow-ed but the reasonable price makes the experience with it. Just FYI they change 20% service fee directly on the bill so you don't need to to tips extra

Great chefs selection. You don’t know what you’re gonna get from the menu, which makes it fun! I love the vibes here and at their sister restaurant Traif. $47 cocktail pairing which was great as well. It’s a lot of food ao get ready to eat.

Such an incredible experience! How is Xixa not more busy!!! I went here for dinner with 3 of my girlfriends and we had the most delicious meal. The server was super sweet and even discouraged us from over ordering as the mains are large. Everything was so delicious and the vibe is really cute. Thank you Xixa

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place blew me away! It’s a Mexican restaurant, but the chef blends in Asian influences beautifully every dish feels layered and creative. I had the Chef’s Tasting Menu with eight courses plus two desserts, and everything was outstanding. Unlike most Mexican or South American dishes that lean sour, the flavors here were perfectly balanced not too tangy, not too salty, just right. The seafood and pork dishes were the highlights (if you don’t eat pork, definitely let the kitchen know in advance). The duck liver course completely stole the show melt-in-your-mouth smooth, richer and more refined than foie gras. The fried chicken wings were another surprise the skin was coated in corn flour, making them chewy and crisp at the same time, and the staff even brought a little bowl of water for cleaning my fingers. So thoughtful! The service was warm and attentive, and every plate looked like art. The desserts were stunning both visually and in taste tying the entire meal together beautifully. Honestly, this is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever tried, no exaggeration. Highly, highly recommend it!
